I saw this on Becca's blog and thought it was such a fun idea!
I am doing a MEMORY post.
Here are the basic rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
3. Remember what your mom taught you; "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." lol Ready? Set? GO!

What Were You Expecting?

Surprise! We're expecting a baby!
Zahlmann Baby #5 is due February 17th (always subject to change)
That's just 1 week before Christopher's 8th birthday...a baby and a baptism all within a month of each other...things ought to be interesting!
This is supposed to be a "surprise" for Grandma and Grandpa from the kids - they wanted to do it on the blog! Kids these days!

Independence Day 2008
We sure had an enjoyable 4th of July! We started out at the annual 4th of July Breakfast at the church. Our activities committee did such a great job pulling everything together! There was tons of fabulous food and a good turn out.
Then we went home for some R & R. Renee and Marco came over and played games with the kids - they loved it! Then we met the rest of the fam at the park by our house and had a wonderful BBQ! I didn't take any pics of the breakfast or the BBQ (Papa snapped this one of Avonleigh at the park). Then when it FINALLY got dark (10pm - seriously, we get like 7 hours of darkness in the summer!), we went across the street to the school parking lot and let off our fireworks with Uncle Scott and Aunt Jessica and the boys. Very busy, very fun!
God Bless America!

Random June Events
Here are several of the June happenings. We had a wonderful visit from Uncle TJ and Aunt Molly and they also brought along Cousin Tricia! Unfortunately it was Christopher's last week of school and he ended up getting sick (high fever, aches, nausea), followed shortly by Avonleigh and Laethym. Our well planned week of activities with Tricia was thwarted, but everyone was well enough to enjoy her last day.

Avonleigh and Payton. It was cute, they pretty much hung out together, while the older girls stuck together. Christopher was golfing with Daddy and Uncle TJ.Note: This is the ONLY picture I got of Avonleigh looking at me, EVERY other picture is with her head down!

This was the carriage cake I made. I was so crazy that I forgot to bring my camera to the shower, so good thing I took a picture before hand. I'll have to get some pics of Molly and the guests from Alice.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are so many events that have transpired over the last couple of months that I get overwhelmed at the thought of trying to blog anything! Then I look at all the hundreds of pictures and think I couldn't possibly narrow it down to so few. Anyway, in an attempt to get over my perfectionism, I'm just going to put in some special events (complete with pictures) that have occurred over the last 2 months.
Let the good times roll!
